ALTEA HILLS / IRLANDA AREA

YEAR OF COMPLETION: 2022
LOCATION: ALTEA HILLS
DIRECTED FACILITIES BY CHEMA CAMPOS:
Photovoltaic for self-consumption

1️⃣ CONCEPT: A recently built luxury home with a modern, clean-lined design, located at the highest point of the Altea Hills development. The house is occasionally occupied, but it features amenities such as a heated pool, sauna, and aerothermal heating, among others, which significantly increase energy consumption at certain times.

> BONUS:  The house is visible from many angles, and although it is almost at the top of the mountain, careful placement of the solar panels is crucial to avoid detracting from the overall appearance. Given the use of the house, although I propose a hybrid inverter, I initially advise against installing batteries. The reason is that they would remain charged and unused for much of the year, significantly extending their payback period.

2️⃣ DEVELOPMENT: Equipped with a 5.4kWp self-consumption photovoltaic system, featuring 540Wp Seraphim panels mounted on an approved 10º concrete structure placed on the roof surface. The system includes a Huawei three-phase hybrid inverter, without an energy storage system.

3️⃣ RESULT: A home with incredible views of Benidorm that maintains its original aesthetic design, with the 10 photovoltaic panels installed on the roof remaining out of sight.
