INSTALLATIONS IN UNSUSPECTED PLACES

What’s the strangest place you’ve ever encountered an inverter?
And I’m talking about a photovoltaic inverter, not a Business Angel. As you know, these only exist in elevators.

In the luxury homes I design and work in, we always have a technical room, of varying size, to house this machinery. And the batteries, the protections… There are never any problems here, at least not of that kind.

But since I don’t just work with luxury homes in photovoltaics, but also, with ATRAE, we do projects in all types of homes, industries, businesses, etc., I’ve sometimes found myself having to go to extraordinary lengths to define a safe place to install it.
Lack of space forces us to be creative.

I’ve installed them in a false ceiling (with good ventilation, of course), inside closets (with perforated doors, of course), under the stairs, on the terrace itself (if they have the necessary IP rating), in the sanitary slab…

The most important thing is always to ensure safety, ventilation, and easy access for maintenance. And that the wiring can easily reach, and that the Wi-Fi can reach…
And you? I ask you again… do you dare to tell me the strangest place you’ve had to install an inverter?
