WHEN LUXURY IS NO LONGER ENOUGH

It is estimated that there are between 25,000 and 30,000 luxury homes in Spain, according to
specialized companies in the real estate sector ️️

Of these, around 10,000 are located on the Costa Blanca, between towns
such as Altea, Jávea, Moraira, Benissa, Calpe, Denia… ☀️

Russian, Belgian, German, English, Spanish clientele… From Liechtenstein,
Switzerland, Norway, the USA…

(It is a sector and an area that I know very well. I am dedicated to it and I move around here)

☀ It is also estimated that around 20% of these high-end homes already have photovoltaic installations.

We could be happy about their awareness of sustainability, energy saving and such. And it would be nice if it were like that…

But for them, this is not about taking a few euros off the electricity bill. This has to do with something that, and this is what they tell me, is infinitely more important to them: energy security.

Imagine that the house that cost you a million, bought in a refugee country (far from conflicts, currently), with good weather, the latest in technology, luxury and comfort, with state-of-the-art home automation and top-level security systems, is reduced to 0 due to a blackout in the electrical network. Suddenly everything fails, nothing works for you…
And we are not talking about a 5-minute blackout. Imagine a prolonged cut, sabotage, a chain failure… ⚡

You may be surprised to know that many owners of these exclusive homes have already started to prepare. Because, although no one says it openly, the current political and global uncertainty is accelerating the fact that more and more of them make the decision to make their homes self-sufficient.

Solar energy, which until now was sold to you as an “ecological” or “saving” option, is becoming a matter of independence and survival.

And don’t be mistaken, the salespeople know it. There are many people here who no longer talk about “sustainability”: Now they sell you energy security.

And, perhaps, they do so with good reason… or not?

What would you do if you were the owner of one of these mansions?
Would you let your peace of mind depend on the electrical system?
Do you trust it 100%?
