A luxury home is not defined only by the size or the quality of the construction elements. It is because it has by itself the ability to transmit to its inhabitants comfort, security and the pleasant feeling that there is nothing it lacks in it.
But what for some is luxury, for others it may not be enough. For that reason, the concept of luxury housing (dreamhouse I like better) must correspond to minimum standards, beyond the fact that these same standards can be taken to exaggeration or to the extreme.
In my view, and beyond the fact that it is bright, attractive and its design attracts attention, even that it has artistic elements in its construction, five words must necessarily define it:
Technological: Everything in it has to be well thought out, connected to the world and its owners and exchange information with them in an agile and fast way.
Efficient: With an intelligent management of the energy it uses, even if it can generate it itself (self-sufficiency) and using the minimum response time in any system.
Functional: Everything must be in its place, out of the way and to improve comfort. Too many buttons were never a good idea.
Comfortable: Everything must be designed by and for the comfort of its inhabitants and personalized to their taste, habits and way of life.
Safe: It should definitely generate a sense of privacy and shelter, a place of peace, where everything is fine and nothing bad can happen.
